I drove over 125 miles one way to buy my car from this dealership because the local Subaru dealership (about 18 miles from my house) wasn't giving me the time of day, nor did they even offer to assist me in ordering a car. Their attitude was complacent at best, and a friend of mine suggested that I use Stivers Subaru of Decatur, so I took his advice. From the first phone call to Mike Rutledge, he was polite and professional, and I knew that I had found the right salesman to deal with. He helped me to order the exact car that I wanted and gave me some good pointers on certain options that I was asking about. The worst part of this whole experience was having to wait for my car to get built at the assembly line and then delivered to the dealership. I was brimming with excitement just thinking about taking delivery whenever that occurred. (I ordered it on 18 Mar 22, and picked it up 07 May 22; so a little over 7 weeks. I couldn't be happier, and I'm glad that I listened to my friend's advice.

I purchased my second car (Outback XT) from Mike and it was as smooth as the first time (2019 WRX). As always he was very fast to respond to emails and very transparent with the pricing. I love Stivers Decatur Suburu. Our total experience at Stivers Subaru was wonderful. Our Sales Associate, Mike Rutledge, was incredible, start to finish. He was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the product, and most importantly,... NO HIGH PRESSURE TACTICS !!! Friendly persuasion and knowledge of the product will get me any time. On our first day there we did not know exactly which model we were most interested in, he patiently spent about 4 - 5 hours with us while we test drove 4 different vehicles, then sat down with us and answered every single question we had. If he did not immediately have the information, he went and found it out for us. On the day we took delivery of our new 2024 Crosstrek Limited, he spent considerable time with us setting up the numerous advanced features and making sure we understood them, to maximize our driving experience.
